    Frequently asked questions

    Is it really free?

Yes, the directory listing is free. Only the DataTerra OS operator subscription (14-day trial) is paid, and it stays optional.

What documents do I need to provide?

Your pilot licence — and, if you have them, your liability insurance and drone registration. DataTerra checks the licence before publishing.

How does my listing go live?

You create your account yourself, for free, in two minutes. You then upload your pilot licence; DataTerra checks it, and you publish your listing (photos, working areas, services) from “My public page” by ticking “Show my listing in the directory”.

Will I receive requests from clients?

Not with the free listing. Requests submitted from the directory go to the partner pilots (operator plan) covering the area. Your listing does make you visible as soon as it is published — and every month we write to you with the number of requests in your area that you did not receive. Then you decide.

Are my contact details shown on the free listing?

No: no phone, no WhatsApp, no email, no links to your reviews elsewhere. Visitors use the “Get quotes from verified pilots” button, which sends a request to the partner pilots of the area. Your details become public again (if you want them to) with the operator plan.
