Terms of Use

Last updated: July 16, 2026

1. Purpose

DataTerra is a territorial decision-intelligence platform: analysis reports (land, agriculture, solar) generated from satellite and public data, plus high-precision drone services on quote. By using the site or ordering a report, you accept these terms.

2. Nature of the reports — what they are and are not

Our reports are a decision-support PRE-FILTER: they surface signals and factual data about an area. They are not legal advice, final due diligence, or regulatory/notarial expertise. Any purchase, investment or operational decision must be validated by the relevant professionals (lawyer, notary, agronomist, engineer).

3. User account

Ordering reports requires an account. You agree to provide accurate information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity performed from your account.

4. Orders and payment

Standard report prices are displayed before ordering and paid online via Stripe. Reports are delivered digitally in your client portal. Drone services are individually quoted, with the validity stated on the quote; payment is made through the secure link provided.

5. Deliverables and intellectual property

Reports and deliverables are provided under a licence for your own use (internal, or within the analysed transaction). Reselling or publicly redistributing a report without written consent is prohibited. Public data used (imagery, thematic layers) remains subject to its original licences — attributions are included in the reports.

6. Data and accuracy

We use the best publicly available data (resolutions and sources stated in each report) and, for drone missions, the data captured in flight. We do not guarantee completeness or absence of error in third-party sources; measured values are delivered with their method and limits.

7. Drone services

Flights are subject to local aviation regulations (AFAC in Mexico, Aerocivil in Colombia), applicable authorisations and weather conditions. A mission may be rescheduled for safety or compliance reasons without this constituting a breach.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount paid for the service concerned. We are not liable for indirect damages (loss of opportunity, profit or data) or for decisions made solely on the basis of a report without professional validation.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

The DataTerra platform is operated by a company incorporated under Swiss law. These terms are governed by Swiss law and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of Geneva (Switzerland), to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory provisions.

10. Contact and changes

We may update these terms; the applicable version is the one published on this page with its update date. Questions: via the Contact page.

Carefully drafted informational document; a review by our legal counsel in Mexico and Colombia is underway and may amend it.
